Back in 1999, I wrote a script called env_vars.pl. This displays environment variables available to your scripts as well as a full listing of Perl modules installed on your server.
All you have to do is upload the script in ASCII mode, then set permissions to 755 (rwx-r-xr-x).
After that, call it in your browser. The page can take a few seconds to load as it may be displaying a lot of information.
I’m not going to link to it (as it reveals stuff that you don’t want to be revealed) but here are some screenshots:
The only dependency this script has is File::Find, which is part of the core distribution of modules with Perl. I’d recommend that you only load this and view it as you need it, don’t leave it up on the server and for Pete’s sake, don’t link to it!
*NOTE: The Perl script downloads as a .txt file to keep your browser from pitchin’ a hissy. Just save it with a .pl extension.
No, this isn’t Perl Diver … it’s the other one …. been around just as long.
If you download and use this, consider making a donation to Children’s Mental Health Ontario.
Now go, code, be happy. 😎
